報告人簡介：
William Rossen教授，目前任教于荷蘭代爾夫特理工大學，地球科學與工程學院，石油工程系。他此前曾在雪弗龍公司工作，并曾在美國德州奧斯汀大學擔任教授。目前已發表超過100篇期刊論文。Rossen教授目前的研究興趣包括泡沫的應用、模拟網絡中的複雜運移過程、以及理解裂隙系統中的流動機理等。在2011年Rossen教授被評為代爾夫特理工大學最佳授課教師。2012年被美國石油工程師協會評為提高采收率先鋒。Rossen教授在求學階段主要學習化學工程專業，并于麻省理工學院獲得學士學位，于明尼蘇達大學獲得博士學位。William Rossen is Professor of Reservoir Engineering in the Department of Geoscience and Engineering, Delft University of Technology. Formerly is he worked at Chevron Oil Field Research Company and was a Professor at The University of Texas at Austin. He has more than 100 journal publications. Prof. Rossen's current research concerns use of foams for diverting fluid flow in porous media, modeling complex transport processes in networks, and understanding flow in naturally fractured geological formations. Prof. Rossen was named Best Instructor at Delft University of Technology in 2011. In 2012 he was named an IOR Pioneer at the SPE/DOE Symposium on Improved Oil Recovery in Tulsa, OK, USA. He holds S.B. and PhD degrees from MIT and the University of Minnesota, respectively, both in Chemical Engineering。
