報告人簡介：
wei Zhang is an assistant professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at University of Connecticut. He completed his Ph.D. at Louisiana University in 2012, and also worked as a senior engineer in Technip USA Inc. before he joined UConn at Aug. 2013. His research interests include coastal natural hazards, damage assessment of complex structures and systems, probabilistic methods, and risk management. He is the associate editor of ASCE – Journal of Bridge Engineering, Frontiers in Built Environment, and serves on the editorial board of Engineering Applications of Computational Fluid Mechanics. In addition, he also served as the chair/vice-chair for several technical committees, such as structural dynamics and control in ASD of ASCE and fatigue and fracture in EMI of ASCE. His research has been sponsored by NSF, NOAA, FHWA/DOT, DOE, and some other state agencies and local companies.
