報告人簡介：
Haim Waisman 為美國哥倫比亞大學土木工程與工程力學系副教授、終身教授。研究方向主要包括計算力學、材料損傷、結構拓撲優化、擴展有限元等。主持多項美國國家自然科學基金等項目，如 “Topology Optimization of Structures Accounting for Damage Uncertainties（NSF）” ，“Simulating Iceberg Calving From Ice Shelves Using a Damage Mechanics Mode（NSF）”等，并在Computational Mechanics, International Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering等國際著名期刊上發表論文70餘篇。
